Job Duties
- Lead and strategize merchandising function across all categories, inspiring and leading the team to manage and implement in-season product management, building and leading merchandise strategies in the market to drive and maximize business results.
- Partner with Merchandise Planning, define Merchandising strategy, monitor the team on product selection, sales performance tracking, inventory management, markdown and promotion initiation, plus product training.
- Foster team building and people development.
- Collaborate closely with HQ and other region teams to drive the market’s product strategy.
- Ensure proper communication with Store Operations, Communications, Marketing, VM, Logistics, Finance, Training, After Sales Services etc.
- Review reports and draw insights and highlight important issues to the team and management.
Requirements
- Degree holder in retail buying, marketing, fashion, business or relevant subject is desired.
- At least 12 years of relevant merchandising experience in high fashion industry and a steady track record at MNC.
- Forward-looking vision with strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Professional command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
